Bringing Panama to China: the bridge work behind a four-city roadshow
End-to-end coordination of Panamanian developer Corabendi’s four-city roadshow in China: embassy, MICI and immigration officials attended, Banco Aliado executives joined, and the new off-plan policy was read out with authority.
Region:Panama → China
In the summer of 2026, the Panama roadshow concluded in four Chinese cities: Beijing, Shanghai, Changzhou and Guangzhou. Behind this high-profile tour, LATAMIGO handled resource coordination and cross-border execution — what we consider the basic duty of a "bridge": helping good projects land precisely in a foreign market, and bringing government officials, senior bankers, local developers and investors to the same table, speaking the same language.
A connector between developer and market
In this campaign, LATAMIGO did not act as a conventional promotion agency. We served as the strategic collaboration platform for Corabendi Development S.A., a top Panamanian developer entering the Chinese market.
Latin America offers real opportunities, but differences in legal logic, administrative pace and cultural context often make good international projects stumble when they reach China. Our work is to clear those obstacles for Corabendi based on our understanding of the commercial rules on both sides — not only bringing the "project" in, but building the "trust" around it.

Coordinating official and financial endorsement
In cross-border business, trust rests on authority. Two key pieces of coordination:
- Deep official participation: with our facilitation, officials from the Embassy of Panama in China, the Ministry of Commerce and Industries (MICI) and the Immigration Service attended the events in person. This is the result of years of work across China-LatAm networks — it ensured that Panama's Decree 193 (revised in 2024) and the USD 300,000 property-based permanent residency program reached Chinese investors in the most authoritative form.
- Local financial support: we brought in senior representatives of Banco Aliado, a licensed Panamanian bank, helping investors with cross-border asset planning, account opening and related pain points.

Avoiding risk with on-the-ground experience
A real bridge must survive practice. LATAMIGO is a team that has walked Latin America.
While supporting Corabendi's core project Panama Residences At Marbella, we read into MICI's latest "off-plan exemption" policy: by applying through the new-build/off-plan track, buyers can bypass the complex inspection process for second-hand homes and complete approval within 30 business days. That command of legal detail comes from long-term presence in the region, not desk research.

Turning policy into executable plans
We helped reshape the multi-dimensional value of the Panama project: from the education pathway for children of overseas Chinese families to asset protection under territorial taxation — translating complex policy into plans Chinese investors can understand and act on.

Closing
"Bilin" means close neighbors across any distance; "Yuandian" means origin and foundation — we stay true to execution and to the essence of business.
LATAMIGO does not produce projects; we accelerate the landing of good ones and coordinate cross-border business. We will keep working on the front line of China-LatAm exchange, as the professional touchpoint in China for Panamanian developers.
